When Life Push You to the Edge

The Goal isn't to beat your opponent; you need to simply refuse to be Beaten.

Hello Beautiful
Good morning or good evening wherever you're at. I am happy you are here. Today I felt like writing down my thoughts regarding the topic of when life kind of pushes you to the edge or for me against the wall.

Think about it this way...oppressor (life) holding you by the neck where you are trying to get your last breath and you don't know if you will survive.

"You can't make decisions with a foggy sight."
Against the wall is a move that the oppressor takes advantage because he/she thinks they have the power of the situation. It is all about the feeling of success and that dopamine feeling where you feel like you have succeeded and won the battle...whatever it is.

Well, life is the same, literally. The every day life can be quite hectic due to the demands for survival or meet the need or want. Now think about how much stress you have put into your psychological bank in your brain. It is very hard to breath, make sense, and even express any thoughts; let alone decisions.

This is why I want to focus this post on the decisions. When we go through these difficult days that we have such "funk" that clouds our minds and our decision making, let's take one step back and silence all the noise in your head. It's like when you are in a room full of children and they are all running around and screaming, and you're trying to speak with someone and you can't hear them or comprehend their statement, you find it difficult to think straight. Well this is the same way I feel when having one of those days.

The one step back will allow you to step out of the noise, study the issue and find the root of the problem. Once you have figured that out, you're able to make 2 steps ahead which allows you to obviously jump the one with the noise and feel good that you overcome it.

So, on your next "Funk" mood, remind yourself that "You can't make decisions with a foggy sight." Allow God to help you get back into the positive mind and once that is taken care of, then all the problems will solve themselves. And did you notice that by doing this, you're not in control anymore, but God.

I personally have control issues, but that's another whole can of warms. Let's focus on getting the Funk out of us, and then work on more sticky grounds.

I hope this insight can help you have a brighter day. See you in the next post!

XOXO
